Why am I writing this?

  • Dolce and Gabbana advert
  • Personal belief that hypersexualisation restricts womens’ opportunities  to flourish as a result of it’s narrowly defined ideas about sex, sexuality, sexiness and femininity
  • My ‘standpoint’
    • Challenged by fear of being perceived anti-sex/ anti sex-work
    • Conflict with notions of women’s choices, their lived experiences and concept of harm
